Second floor sections of alternate 1940 loading dock location

A few of the blueprints have section details which show posts, windows, walls, the floors, and other details. Even though there are certain aspects which cannot be trusted (the details are not drawn to scale, they have no measurements, they may be in a slightly different location), they still were rendered by hand with some idea of what the structure was like: there are two brick courses on the top facade, below the granite cap. A detail like this adds clarity and specificity without being exact.

"1-2-4-MIX" refers to the amount of cement, sand, and course aggregate in the concrete

The blueprint shows the 1940 loading dock renovation and alteration, however I notice that "existing opening height" is written vertically up the left opening of the loading dock. The important measurements are related to the supports and walls affected, it looks like reinforcement of the lintel and addition ("proposed") of a folding door, which is drawn as a coil.

Two windows were removed and the wall opened, and they must have cut into the concrete foundation to create the interior truck loading bay.

Also of note: written along the bottom, "ENGLANDER BEDDING CO BUILDINGS"

2010 survey shows the loading dock with a support post in the middle of the bay with a coil door on both sides. Either another reinforcement was required or this plan was changed.

The lintel and supports around the opening match closely, but the middle post is not in the plans. The whole garage is also moved one window to the left.
